Development, Grant Writing, Evaluation, and Grant Writing Workshops
Sydnors and Associates provides consulting services in fund-raising, grant development and writing, evaluation services and grant writing workshops to colleges, non-profits and school districts. We have evaluated more than 30 projects including Even Start, Teacher Quality (Eisenhower), National Science Foundation, Talent Search, GEAR UP, Upward Bound, Student Support Services, Title V, HUD-HSIAC, and NASA-funded projects.
The staff's efforts have resulted in three nominations as Bellwether Finalists, twice selected as finalist for the MetLife Foundation Community Excellence Award. Dr. Granville Sydnor was selected by the Council for Resource Development as the 2007 Grant Professional of the Year. Since 1998, the staff of Sydnors and Associates helped secure more than $40,000,000 in external funding and assisted clients in putting together partnerships that leveraged over $15,000,000 in matching funds.
Sydnors and Associates level of service can be tailored to the needs of the organization. We act as the sole development arm for clients, we develop and write major grants such as Title III and V, GEAR UP and TRIO grants, and we provide workshops in grant development and writing to organizations.
Sydnors and Associates will evaluate an institution (or an institution's needs) and undertake the writing of a proposal only if we believe the proposal can be successful. We will also work with an organization to identify appropriate external funding sources.
Sydnors and Associates will provide a new service.

For colleges and universities without a grant developer or grant writer, Sydnors and Associates provides a full range of grant development/writing services, including:
• Monitoring of all federal grants
• Searching for foundation support for special projects
• Gathering relevant service area data
• Analyzing your service area school district data
• Examining all available institutional data
• Writing proposals
